Conquering the Nurgurgring In Under 8 Minutes + Gyro Cam Video!

With a nickname like The Green Hell, the Nurburgring Nordschleife is nearly 13 miles of terror wrapped up in a historic race track. Famous for its sheer length, close confines, and the fact it is open to the public most the year, the Nurburgring has a dual reputation as a great testing facility and a widow maker – certain reports estimate as many as 12 deaths a year here. To lap here in under 10 minutes is considered a fast lap.

During last weekend’s round of the eMotoRacing series, held at New Jersey Motorsports Park, the series had a special entry. Mixed among the Brammo TTXs and Empulse Rs that are normally seen in the series, the Bolt II electric motorcycle from Virginia Tech University filled a grid slot amongst them. 2014 WSBK – Misano Results

Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes won both races at Misano to stretch his championship lead to 39 points as we pass the halfway mark of the 2014 World Superbike Championship. The reigning champion scored his third double-win round of the season while his teammate Loris Baz added a pair of second-place finishes. David Salom on the Kawasaki’s factory EVO entry was also the top rider in the new sub-class for both races to top off a strong weekend for the Team Green.
