The Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic SE VN900B is a mid-sized cruiser 1st introduced in 2006. The Vulcan 900 is powered by a liquid cooled 903 cc V-Twin engine mated to a five gear transmission. It also features a 5.3 gallon tank, floor boards, front and rear disk brakes, electronic fuel injection and a belt for the final drive. This is a Vulcan 900 Classic LT VN900D which came standard with a factory windshield, saddlebags, a passenger backrest and a leather studded seat. When it was new the selling dealer sent it out to Lehman and had it converted to a Storm trike and the owner had passenger floor boards added. The Storm features an S.M.A.R.T. suspension for max performance with a no lean. Other features include the adjustable rear air suspension, the large lockable trunk, a steering stabilizer bar, raked triple trees, a parking brake and cast aluminum rear wheels. This is a one owner trike that was purchased new in August of 2011 and currently has an incredibly low 683 original miles. It also comes with a 3 yr prepaid maintenance contract which covers all service needs through 08/20/14 or 20,000 mis. Service must be done at Gieson Motorsports in Rock Falls, IL. Absent from Kawasaki’s U.S. offerings is the naked version of the Ninja 650, the ER-6n which has also been updated and will be available in other markets such as Europe and Canada.

In front of a record crowd of 46,896, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto raced to his second-consecutive AMA Supercross victory, an FIM World Championship, 450SX Class Main Event win at O.co Coliseum in Oakland, CA on Saturday night. Rockstar Energy Racing’s Davi Millsaps finished in second, and Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey followed in third.
Former F1 Champ Fittipaldi Producing Limited Edition Kawasaki ZX-10R
Fri, 13 Jul 2012Emerson Fittipaldi is probably best known for his four-wheel racing career which include two Formula One World Championships, a CART racing title and two Indy 500 victories. What might be less known, at least outside of his native Brazil perhaps, is Fittipaldi owns a pair of Kawasaki motorcycle dealerships. The 65-year-old former racer and his team has produced a limited edition run of 50 Kawasaki ZX-10R sportbikes in the black and gold colors of his 1972 F1 Championship-winning John Player Lotus 72 car.
