Kawasaki Other description

If you're mature enough, have the $$$ and the experience, this is just what you're looking for!
Super powerful, shaft drive, sport touring Kawasaki Concours with ABS! Set up superbly with many included up-grades: Russell all day saddle, MC Larry bar risers, highway pegs and passenger foot peg extenders, two California Scientific windshields-one large and one medium. Additional accessory ports and ram mount. The Givi Monokey top case combined with the side cases with liners, will allow you to tour with everything you need. There are 2 programmed Proximity keys for the keyless ignition, handy and good insurance too.

The 2 previous owners have always been obsessive maintenance junkies because of their aviation backgrounds. Needless to say everything has been done by the book and this machine is in superb condition and ready to go anywhere you care to ride it. It has comfort, power, handling and braking in spades and represents terrific value. A comparable new machine of this caliber would be above 20K these days.

I'm offering this bike for my good friend who is once again globe trotting and does not have the time to sell it himself. He has been around motorbikes all his life and this is one of the best he's ever owned. All the paper work is in order with a clean South Dakota title. Please, no scammers (they will be reported immediately), trades, tire kickers or lookey-loos. Only contact me at 530-902-1670, phone or text, if you are serious about owning such a capable motorbike.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
