2004 KAWASAKI CONCOURS ZG1000, The Kawasaki Concours, known in Europe as the GTR1000 and in USA as the ZG1000, is a 997 cc, six speed, four cylinder, liquid-cooled sport touring motorcycle with shaft drive. The bike can reach speeds over 190 km/h (120 mph), offers nimble handling and – with its full fairing, tall screen, twin locking panniers, and 28 litres (6.2 imp gal 7.4 US gal) fuel capacity – is suited to cross-country two-up touring.This dark blue 2004 Concours is super-clean, has vented windscreen, tank bra, folding highway pegs, driver backrest with pouch, removable hard saddle bags and removable trunk. From what we can work out is uses an early eighties air-cooled Z1000 Kawasaki as a base and is cloaked in this hand beaten alloy and copper bodywork. Can’t imagine it’s much fun in a cross wind, though.
MSF Begins Year-long Real World Motorcycle Safety Study
