For starters this was the first year of production of the ZX12R. They produced 1000's of green bikes but only 450 red. As of 2 years ago US DMV records showed only 9 red as being registered. That being said along with being a one owner bike showroom kept with only 2800 miles and all the extras mentioned in the listing I would say its RARE.

 I am listing this for an adult friend of mine . He has been a professional auto and motorcycle tech for over 45 years. Please refer ALL questions to him as I know very little about this RARE bike other than it is IMMACULATE. This is what I do know. It was purchased by him New 1n 2000 and has only 2814 miles. The motor is stock and has not been tampered with other than exhaust and a power commander. The 6"extended swingarm was custom fabricated by him.The wheels, swingarm, and other parts were chromed.The sprockets were replaced with anodized and chain was replaced with a heavy duty gold replacement. A high performance air shifter was added. Please do your Kawasaki homework as this is no run of the mill bike. Isle of Man TT 2014: PokerStars Senior TT Results

Michael Dunlop won his fourth race of the 2014 Isle of Man TT and 11th in his career, capping off this year’s event by taking the PokerStars Senior TT. It is the second-consecutive year that Dunlop has won four races in a single TT, this time capturing the Senior, Superbike, Superstock, and the second Supersport TT races. It took a while for Dunlop to get going.

46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012

An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.

Kawasaki announced its 2012 street model lineup this week announcing a number of updates to its ZX-14R, as well as the Vulcan 1700 Voyager, Ninja 1000 and Ninja 650. Absent from Kawasaki’s U.S. offerings is the naked version of the Ninja 650, the ER-6n which has also been updated and will be available in other markets such as Europe and Canada.
