Kawasaki Other description

This turned being a nice bike. I put a ton of work into this bike putting it back on the road. I've upgraded a lot of parts along the way and have made a very reliable bike out of it.

What I've done:
New tires front and rear. Shinko 712's, front and rear. Nice sticky tires.
New piggy back shocks, I set the sag with me on the bike and it rides quite nice. I weigh around 160 lbs.
New Horn
New Accell plug wires and Champion plugs
New stator and regulator/rectifier
New cateye led tail light.
Re shimmed the valves. all within spec now.
New valve cover gasket.
Newer seat cover. (needs a new seat pan put on, i have a good one that goes with the bike)
Polished the engine covers
Rebuilt carbs with all new viton o-rings and ultrasonic cleaned. I went with viton just for the ethanol gas thats at all the gas stations now.
New k&n filters.
Rejetted carbs
New intake rubber manifolds
Rebuilt fuel petcock
New engine breather filter
New clubman handlebars.
New hand controls.
New clutch and throttle cables.
New bar end mirrors.
New low pro signals up front.
New 4-1 Mac exhaust.
Rebuilt clutch. New friction plates and springs. EBC set.
Oil Change 200 miles ago with Wix filter.

A few mods will set this bike apart from the rest of the crowd. I put a Chevy cavalier coil pack on it with gm hei igniters. I made a custom bracket for the coils and they sit right behind the air filters. I put about 500 miles on this set up and have had no problems!  I have the plugs gapped at .070. And its smooth all the way through the rpm band. Runs like a top. And the ignition parts are now easily replaceable, but they're also 100x more reliable than old Kaw parts. Also I went with the clubman bars to give it that low profile forward sitting stance like a cafe bike. I just didn't want to resort to clip ons. The bars can always be turned around if you'd rather sit up right. It's also a drive shaft bike! Super reliable in that department, i've also changed the final drive oil as well! I could take a video of it running if it is requested of me.

It does have a small oil leak from the shift shaft seal, but its not bad! The paint isn't show quality or anything, but it does look good. For what it is I really can't complain. I personally like how it's aged. It definitely has a lot of character!

I'd be happy to answer any questions, and am not hiding anything about the condition of the bike. Feel free to pm me. And happy bidding!
