I've resuscitated a 1979 KZ400-B1 that spent the last 30 years in the original owner's garage. It's in beautiful, original, condition with 2,362 miles and all accessories, including engine guards, backrest & rack, and clear plastic windshield (not shown). Original tool kit, receipts and owners manual included. I installed a new battery, flushed the gearbox, unclogged and cleaned the carbs and replaced the intake hangers, gaskets and O-rings, I had the spokes tightened and wheels trued while replacing the tires. All rubber components are surprisingly pliable. Cleaning this bike up was like going back in time. She runs beautifully, too.
It's missing the air cleaner cap, a metal tray that covers the filter and hold the tool kit. It's P/N 11012-1004. The original owner probably took it off for increased air flow. Small ding in the gas tank. Otherwise, absolutely gorgeous. The bike is ready for sale. I'd like to get it in the hands of someone who has a personal attachment to the KZ family of bikes. Corbin Rider Appreciation Day July 5 & 6 In Conjunction With Rebirth Of Hollister Rally
Mon, 03 Jun 2013Corbin has announced that all vendor spaces on the lot are filled for their 4th Annual Rider Appreciation Day, held this year on July 5 and 6. Last year, Corbin had thousands of riders show up to help celebrate our country’s birthday and take part in the festivities and expects a much bigger crowd this year, since the city has approved the Hollister Rally and the event covers two days. Mike Corbin reported that the city is feverishly working on the final details in order to make this year’s Hollister Rally one to remember.

2015 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R 30th Anniversary Edition Revealed
Fri, 11 Jul 2014Kawasaki added a new limited edition 30th Anniversary Ninja model, revealing the 2015 ZX-14R in a special Firecracker Red and Metallic Graystone color scheme based on the colors of the original 1984 Ninja 900, the company’s first fully-faired sportbike. Kawasaki had previously announced 30th anniversary editions of the ZX-10R and ZX-6R, both bearing green livery remembering the company’s World Superbike and Supersport racers. Only 300 units of the limited edition Ninja ZX-14R will be produced for the U.S.
