Kawasaki Other tech info
Kawasaki Other description
Here is an original 1977 Kawasaki KZ650 , it is a true
original survivor , runs very good does not smoke on starting or when warmed up
, I replaced the seat with a new old stock one as the bike had an after market stepped seat normal for
the period but this one looks better . It does need a starter switch
and tach cable , the side covers are correct but have a blue
metal flake paint , the stock exhaust seems to clean up well and does not have
any rust holes . this bike is an excellent candidate to be come a beautiful
restoration . I will include an extra throttle assembly to replace the one with
the broken starter switch . The bike has a temporary starter switch as well as a
kicker. Bike comes with NH Registration and bill of sale I will apply for antique title for an additional fee . A $300 deposit is required within 24 hours of auction close thru PayPal. Balance is due within 7 days payable in cash certified check or wire transfer bike will not leave until funds have cleared . Kawasaki Reports 2012-2013 Results
Wed, 15 May 2013Kawasaki Heavy Industries reported a 7.1% increase in net sales from its Motorcycle and Engine business for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2013. The bump in sales resulted in the division’s first year-end profit since the 2007-2008 fiscal year. The Motorcycle and Engine division, which includes Kawasaki‘s ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft and general purpose engines, generated 251.8 billion yen (US$2.462 billion) in sales revenue, up from 235.2 billion yen reported the previous fiscal year.
The Japanese fantasized about the new Kawasaki Ninja 250
Sun, 25 Dec 2016The small sportbike was last updated in 2013, but the next update is just around the corner. The Japanese magazine Young Machine has published a hypothetical (or, who knows, very likely) image of the new generation Kawasaki Ninja 250, which will appear at the end of next year or in 2018. The render is intriguing: according to it, the younger “ninja” can get a “birdcage” frame and a “changeling” fork.
Steam Punk Bike
Wed, 19 Jan 2011This steam-punk inspired bike is the work of LA based sculptor and, er, free thinker, Baron Margo. From what we can work out is uses an early eighties air-cooled Z1000 Kawasaki as a base and is cloaked in this hand beaten alloy and copper bodywork. Can’t imagine it’s much fun in a cross wind, though.
