1974 Kawasaki Z1900, frame up restoration. Frame # Z1F33238, engine # Z1F33283. Bike was completely rebuilt, engine is a stock bore 903cc with new rings, new gaskets, cleaned up head with new valve seals, rebuilt front master cylinder, front caliper and petcock. New parts include mirrors, bars, grips, shocks, chain guard, spokes, stainless allen head bolt kit, fork seals,throttle cables, clutch cable and tune up kit. Bike has 29mm smooth bore carbs, stock coils and ignition. Wheels were completely taken apart and rebuilt with new spokes, rear hub was polished, front hub was painted, with new Dunlop 404 tires. Frame has been gusseted with hand fabricated pieces, and it is done right. Mileage is 33875. Carbs are going to need to be fine-tuned. I spent a lot of time on this bike as you can see by what it looked like when I bought it. It was a true barn-find. Bike has a clear title and is sold as is. Rossi, Pedrosa Fastest In Second Sepang MotoGP Test
Fri, 28 Feb 2014Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa topped the time sheets at the conclusion of the second MotoGP test at the Sepang track in Malaysia. Both clocked identical times of 1:59.999 to become the only riders to dip under the two minute mark the entire test. The hot and humid conditions in Sepang meant times wouldn’t be faster than they were in the first test here only a few weeks prior, and indeed, Rossi and Pedrosa’s time is 0.466 second slower than the fastest lap Marc Marquez set at the last test.
Recall for 2011 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT
Thu, 30 Jun 2011Kawasaki is issuing a recall on the 2011 Vulcan Classic LT tourer due to a risk of damage to the tires’ inner tubes. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the inner tubes on some Kawasaki Vulcan Classic LT models may become pinched near the valve stem during mounting. In some cases, this may result in a loss of air pressure.
