This is a 1972 Kawasaki H1 500. It is in very good condition. Some of what you read here is also found in the condition description. There is no rust. It runs well and is ready for show or the road. I customized it to follow the theme of a WWII fighter plane. The seat has been re-upholstered. I cleaned up the engine cases by doing an engine turn finish and jeweled the edges of the cylinder fins. Parts for these bikes are found mostly online and not at dealerships. I bought it in 2007 so I am not the original owner. It was well taken care of and has a clear title. The tank is in good condition and does not show signs of internal rust. I keep it topped off with fuel to prevent that from happening. I use this bike as more of a show bike than one to ride but it is rideable. These were the predecessors of the current sport bikes today. It is kept garaged and under cover. I want to sell it because I want to add space in my garage for an ATV and figure this should probably go. If you have any questions please respond to this ad and I'll get back with you. Mon, 14 May 2012BMW earned its first-ever World Superbike race win at the U.K.’s Donington Park, but missed out on sweeping the round after teammates Leon Haslam and Marco Melandri crashed on the final corner while battling for the lead in the second race. Melandri earned BMW its landmark first win in Race One leading Haslam in a one-two finish. They could have repeated that finish in Race Two but Haslam low-sided after making contact with Honda‘s Jonathon Rea trying to pass on the inside.
Malaysian Police Launches Fleet of 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 250 Patrol Bikes – Video
Wed, 02 Jan 2013The Royal Malaysian Police has upgraded its motorcycle patrol squad with a fleet of police-spec 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 250 sportbikes. The law agency’s Unit Rondaan Bermotosikal (Malaysian for motorcycling patrol unit) will receive 1000 units of the Ninja 250 which received a substantial update for 2013. Essentially, it’s the same as the Kawasaki Ninja 300 with ABS and fuel injection but with a 249cc engine.
