Great for new rider!The very good...Very clean bike, 6k miles, terrific tires good brakes, shifts clean, chain in attractive condition, new battery, plastics all clean, no scrapes, no cracks, never dropped. See it and you will agree on the condition.The not as good...Bike just needs a good carb cleaning to run well. Won't kick over, tries to but just won't catch. Have a new set of NGK sparks to throw in.As is, the first person with cash $1100 buys it. If I clean the carbs and tune it, the price goes to $1350. I won't dicker on the $1100, it's worth that much in parts alone, but this is not a parts bike, it's a runner. Save your time, and mine if you are thinking about bargaining me down. Wed, 08 Sep 2010We ran a couple of stories last week - both, coincidentally, about new Kawasakis. One was the first peek of the new ZX10R – hot stuff you’d imagine – the other, the new W800 retro parallel twin. I suppose it shouldn’t have shocked us, which story was most popular in terms of hits but it really does mark a seismic shifts in British biking attitudes that the W800 story doubled the hits of the ZX10 piece.

Fri, 23 Sep 2011Well Maxxis were bang on with their mileage claims, 6500 miles on the rear and it looks as though there is another 1000. Not bad at all for a set of tyres that cost less than £200. Having lived with the Supermaxx’s Diamonds over the past few months the best thing about these tyres is the mileage range they offer vs cost.
