Whether you're a street rider or a racer, this bike packs the kind of potent strength that will satisfy even the most discriminating enthusiasts. Features may include Massice Mid-Range Performance Double-bore velocity stacks feature inlets at two different heights for increased performance in both the mid and high-rpm ranges. Cam and tappet nitriding enables high-load cam profiles for maximum performance. Crown-finished pistons. Molybdenum-coated piston skirts for reduced friction and engine break-in. Low-tension piston rings reduce mechanical losses. Advanced cam chain guides stabilize chain motion and further reduce mechanical losses. Exhaust collector layout contributes to superb low and mid-range performance while maintaining high-rpm performance. Precise Throttle Control Cylindrical guides in the top of the air cleaner box ensure accurately sprayed fuel mist from the secondary injectors into the intake funnels, improving combustion efficiency. Kawasaki Celebrates 30 Years Of Ninjas With Anniversary Model ZX-6Rs

Tue, 06 May 2014

In 1985 Ronald Reagan is President, Back To The Future is a box office smash, New Coke is introduced and so is Kawasaki’s first 600cc Ninja sportbike. Thirty years later we’re still riding Ninjas but, thankfully, drinking original recipe Coca-Cola. For 2015, Kawasaki celebrates three decades of Ninja models with a 30th Anniversary Ninja ZX-6R and Ninja ZX-6R ABS.

Update: Bike Stolen On ‘Round The World Adventure Recovered!

Wed, 22 Jan 2014

Martin Williams, the man who had his motorcycle stolen halfway through his trip around the world, has been reunited with his Kawasaki. A man walking his dog one morning spotted the bike and reported it to authorities. Williams was obviously elated to get his bike back, but the thieves unfortunately had their way with it before it was recovered.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
