Kawasaki kz 900 description
This is a great collector bike as they were only produced for 1 year and only 5500 were produced. It's been garage kept since new and has only 1100 original miles. It runs great, everything works except the electric start but it kicks like a champ! The last guy that did some work on it took the casing apart and cleaned out some corrosion inside and it made the starter work perfect but it's since stopped again, so I know that is still the issue. All original parts except the pipes and the breather system has been replaced with individual breathers on the carbs. Those are about a year old. The gas tank and carbs have been cleaned out completely and only 100% gasoline has been used since. The bike has new brakes. It's been re-painted and there is a small area of bulging paint on the gas tank (pictured) and minor oxidation on the motor casing. There's very little rust on this bike! The previous owner wasn't able to find the title but I've had it registered in GA until January this year. |

The TT800 From Deus Ex Machina
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Deus Ex Machina, the surf/moto shop known for creating throwback, one-of-a-kind motorcycles, has released its latest work of art, the TT800. Paying tribute to the highly successful Triumph factory TT machines from the mid-1960s, Deus’ expert builder, Michael Woolaway, created the TT800 for a customer requesting a new, old Triumph. It sources a Kawasaki W650 bored out to 800cc with CR carbs, a custom TT inspired exhaust, custom chromoly racing frame, re-valved Öhlins forks, and a custom gusseted swing arm for more stability. A Beringer six-piston caliper front brake provides stopping power.
