2014 KAWASAKI KX450F 450, The KX 450F has been updated for 2014 to help continue its back-to-back string of recent championships. The string began with Monster Energy Kawasaki s Ryan Villopoto winning both the 2011 Supercross and 2011 Motocross titles, followed by leading the U.S. team to an overall victory at the Motocross of Nations, then Villopoto s absolute domination of the Monster Energy Cup which also earned him the Monster Million. Last but not least, Villopoto recently defended his Supercross title by winning the 2012 championship on his KX450F!

K-Tech release 25SSK for Big Piston Forks
Mon, 21 May 2012K-Tech have released their popular 25SSK front fork open cartridge system to fit all Showa Big Piston Forks. Here's what K-Tech have to say about them: These lightweight aluminium units are supplied to the same exacting specification as all other 25SSK fitments with 14mm piston rods and a 25mm cartridge tube, the 14mm piston rods displace a large volume of oil through the 25mm control pistons giving enhanced damping characteristics over the standard Big Piston Fork and allow a bigger volume of air for a more precise feel at the bottom of the fork travel. The cartridge kits have compression and rebound adjustment in both legs and are supplied with 1.5mm Flow Control Valves for a more accurate adjustment, all necessary hardware is supplied to convert the Big Piston Forks to take the cartridges but it is necessary to order the springs you require as these are not included, customer price for the 25SSK cartridges is £725.00 + VAT and are available for the following models:- Honda CBR1000RR 2012 Kawasaki ZX6-R 2009-2012 Kawasaki ZX10-R 2011-2012 Suzuki GSXR600 2011-2012 Suzuki GSXR1000 2009-2012 Contact K-Tech on: +44(0)1283 559007.

Mon, 01 Jul 2013The 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is in the books, and while much of the media attention focused on Sebastien Loeb demolishing the outright course record, setting the first eight-minute lap with a 8:13.878 — over 90 seconds faster than the previous lap record —in his Peugeot 208 T16, history was made in the motorcycle divisions as well. Below are the times for all the motorcycle competitors in this year’s event. As expected, Carlin Dunne aboard the Lightning electric superbike, took top honors among all motorcycle competitors, marking the first time an electric motorcycle has done so.

Team Segway Racing MotoCzysz will again return to the TT Zero with past TT Zero winners Mark Miller and Michael Rutter as its riders in the 2012 race. The Isle of Man TT press office today announced a total of 18 entrants in the 2012 SES TT Zero electric motorcycle race — a record number of riders according to the IoM TT website.
