Kawasaki Other description

This is a super clean GPZ 750. Super clean!  Engine has been completely rebuilt, just had an oil change, everything works perfectly. The compliments come regularly.  Comes with original owners manual, The only thing wrong is that the turn signals don't blink and the helmet lock needs a new key. Other than that the bike runs perfect.  If your looking for something reliable and that gets a good amount of attention, then this is your bike.  There isn't much you can buy in this price range which will get the compliments this bike gets. Mileage is 26,700.  Pipe is after market Vance and Hines.  Sounds great.  Tires have plenty of tred.  Clean title.  Please ask as many questions as you need answered.

If not a local pick up, buyer will be responsible to arrange and pay for shipping. I can bring the bike to shipping company if in the San Francisco bay area.

ZX-10R inspired by JPS Lotus?

Tue, 10 Jul 2012

Spotted on Kawasaki's Facebook page, this 'Limited Edition' ZX-10R has been created by none other than double-F1 World Champ Emerson Fittipaldi, who is - amongst other things - a Kawasaki dealer in Brazil and who also happened to win his first World Championship in 1972 in a JPS Lotus that had a very similar colour scheme. Fittipaldi started his motorsport career on a motorcycle, aged just 14, before heading to hydrofoils (surely no-one else at world level has ever raced these?!) and then the more traditional route of karting. Question is: what do you think to the paintjob?

Get down on your knees and play

This remarkable shot of Eddie Lawson is taken by Rich Chenet. It was August 1980 and Lawson was undergoing a titanic scrap for the AMA title with Wes Cooley and Freddie Spencer here at Pocono Raceway in Philladelphia. The circuit is known as the 'Tricky Triangle' amongst the NASCAR drivers but the superbikes used a mix of infield and sections of the banked circuit.
