I am like the original owner of this vintage Z1 for 40 years as I bought it from my brother in law to get married. I drove on weekends in those days and it was running fine when put in storage 35 years ago.The photo is stock photo and looks similar before storage. Being under a tarp in a storage garage collects a lot of dust and now looks in need of thorough TLC and tuning. This is an "AS IS" sale as I am too old to ride it or clean it up. Tue, 05 Jul 2011Kawasaki is recalling some 2009-2010 KLX250 models due to a risk of leaky fuel tanks. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the fuel tank on affected motorcycles may not be in contact with the frame-mounted rubber dampers designed to support the front of the tank, and the tank side mounting tabs may have excessive clearance from from the frame. As a result, spot-welded sections along the side tabs may be under excessive stress, potentially resulting in cracking and a fuel leak.

Now, Team Green has just released a “Making Of” video about the production of that video, featuring TT star James Hillier. This behind-the-scenes short film shows the crew capturing Hillier as he passes within millimeters of the camera. You’ll see the camera-equipped pursuit bike racing side-by-side with Hillier, as well as the aerial heli-cam.
