Kawasaki KZ900 description

For sale is a nice vintage 1976 Kawasaki KZ900.
  • I think this is a restored bike as opposed to a very clean survivor.  Some things are just to nice to be 40 years old!
  • I acquired this bike some years ago in Oregon in a trade of a number of flat track bikes.  I rode it maybe 100 miles then drained the fuel and it has sat in my shop/warehouse since.
  • It will need a new battery as the old one is long gone.
  • Very very nice paint, seat, side covers, gauges, tires, spokes, rims, etc. Shows very well.
  • Very original - no rust to speak of at all.
  • Beautiful Vance & Hines 4 into 1.  I don't have the stock pipes.
  • I never registered it and don't have a title but will give you a bill of sale.
  • Only 14k miles on the clock!
  • I'd say it is a 9 or 9.5 on a 10 scale.  Of course that is my subjective opinion.
  • Engine Number xxx (will get it in the next few days.
  • $250 due by paypal upon successful auction end with the balance to be paid by cash, wire xfer or cashiers check within 7 days of the auctions end.
  • Sold on a Bill of Sale.
  • Check out my feedback.
  • Will work with your shipper or possible west coast delivery for a nominal fee (gas & expenses).

2014 Kawasaki Estrella Retro-Styled 250 Announced for Japan

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

Fans of classic-styled motorcycles will have to go to Japan to find the 250cc Kawasaki Estrella. The Estrella has been around since 1992 but apart from a few years of European availability in the late ’90s, has mostly been confined to Kawasaki’s home market. Updated for 2014 with a new seat and color options, the Estrella remains powered by an air-cooled 249cc Single.

Seeley On Form On First Night Of North West 200

Fri, 16 May 2014

Alastair Seeley took a double in the Ballymoney Borough council Supersport and Pirtek Superstock events at the start of racing at the Vauxhall International North West 200 this evening, what many “real” road racers refer to as the precursor to the Isle Of Man TT. In the Supersport race, the ‘Wee Wizard’ survived being caught up in a first lap crash at York hairpin that left him languishing in 16th to come through and win the opening race of the night on his Mar-Train Yamaha R6. Lee Johnston was the rider who went down in the first lap crash, causing Seeley to take evasive action to avoid going down himself.
