Original Owner, All Original 1981 Kawasaki KZ550 LTD, with 6631 ORIGINAL MILES. The Bike starts and runs very well. It was in storage unused for over 10 years until I took it out this spring, and began to clean it up and restore it. The tank has been cleaned and lined, the fuel lines have been cleaned and purged, new plugs were installed, oil changed, and a new battery was installed. The bike starts right up, and runs well. If I had the time, I would repaint the tank, and put a new master cylinder on the bike, and it would be good for any trip, and many years to come. This bike is a classic, and is one of the original 4 stroke, (4 cylinder), bikes to be introduced into the mid sized, production market, and was ahead of it's time when introduced. It's still very much a classic, and looks it. The seat is in great condition, with no tears, or issues. I've included a close up of the tank that shows the rust coming through the paint, which is why I would suggest repainting the tank. Again, the interior of the tank was lined a few months ago to ensure the integrity of the tank and fuel lines. The Engine # is KZ550AE019571. Displacement is 553cc. 53HP at 8500 rpm. 2014 WSBK – Assen Results
Mon, 28 Apr 2014Heavy rains and a fortuitous red flag were the difference in the World Superbike Championship‘s visit to The Cathedral of motorcycle racing, the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands. Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli captured his second win of the season in Race 1, which was halted early by a red flag with five laps to go just as it looked like reigning WSBK champion Tom Sykes was gearing up for a final challenge. The second race was also shortened, not by a red flag but because of a rain, turning the 21-lap race into a 10-lap sprint.

Following the success of their first motorcycle drift video, featuring Nick Brocha on a stretched Kawasaki ZX-10R scorching rubber with Jim Guthrie on a Corvette-powered Mazda RX7, the guys set out to one-up themselves. With this video, I think it’s safe to say “Mission Accomplished.” This time around, Brocha is joined by Ernie Vigil and they’re riding modified Triumph Speed Triples.
AMA Supercross: 2012 Phoenix Results
Mon, 16 Jan 2012Ryan Dungey gave KTM its first ever AMA Supercross win, taking the holeshot and leading every lap in Phoenix, Ariz. With an audience of 49,236 watching at Chase Field, it was the field that had to chase Dungey during the main event. Dungey jumped out in front at the first corner followed by JGRMX Yamaha‘s Davi Millsaps and defending AMA Supercross Champion Ryan Villopoto of Kawasaki.
