2012 Kawasaki KX 450: bought new January 2012. Low hours -- I got back into riding after a few year break, but do not have time to ride -- only ridden once this year. New Acerbis plastic kit, tires good, near new Renthal chain/sprockets/chain, near new TM designs chain guide and rollers. Pro Taper bars, GPR stabilizer, Acerbis hand guards. Enzo suspension -- revalve, springs, fork tube sliders (in total around $900). Comes with graphics kit (not installed). Thu, 13 Mar 2014America’s road racing champions of tomorrow are racing in AMA Pro SuperSport today, and their season kicks off this weekend at Daytona International Raceway. With events on both Friday and Saturday, there are plenty of chances for glory for the 48 competitors entered. AMA Pro SuperSport is the most unpredictable class and the racing gives a chance for riders in the large fields to step up and prove they have what it takes. A great example is reigning AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Champion and current SuperBike pilot Cameron Beaubier, who cut his teeth in his two-victory, two-pole season in 2010.
Kawasaki-Supported Zytek ZX10ev TT Zero Electric Racer
Tue, 22 May 2012British Superbike race team Bournemouth Kawasaki and electric powertrain maker Zytek Automotive will compete in the 2012 TT Zero on the Isle of Man with an electric ZX-10R with support from Kawasaki UK. The Zytek-Kawasaki ZX10ev uses the chassis of a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R and an oil-cooled Zytek permanent magnet electric motor. Zytek is a race-proven electric powertrain supplier, though its expertise is primarily with cars.
