Kawasaki KLX description

2013 KAWASAKI KLX™140L, Off-road riders and mini-moto enthusiasts don't have to settle for simple one-size machines with limited performance and cramped ergonomics. Kawasaki's KLX140 has opened the door for a wider variety of riders in the small displacement off-road arena. More advanced or longer-limbed riders can turn to its sibling, the larger 19 in. front / 16 in. rear-wheeled KLX140L. Both 140s are designed to be beginner and novice friendly, yet offer a roomy layout and enough performance to suit more-advanced riders.

Drift Camera HD170 review

Fri, 11 Mar 2011

I’ve been testing this Drift 170 camera for the past few days. I also took it on the recent Portimao Maxxis tyre launch where I managed to sneak it onto Gary Mason’s Kawasaki Superbike. We’ve been using the GoPro HD set-up for over a year now with mixed results.

Recall for 2011 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT

Thu, 30 Jun 2011

Kawasaki is issuing a recall on the 2011 Vulcan Classic LT tourer due to a risk of damage to the tires’ inner tubes. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the inner tubes on some Kawasaki Vulcan Classic LT models may become pinched near the valve stem during mounting. In some cases, this may result in a loss of air pressure.

Kawasaki Z1R.

Thu, 09 Dec 2010

These two beautiful Z1R Kawasakis appeared at the annual Mooneyes Yokohama Custom show last weekend. With one sporting a street/strip look (spot the belly-scraping ride height and rigid rear struts) and the other undergoing a sort of modernisation, they both reminded me just how handsome and unique the original slab-sided Z1R was.  Judging by some of the other wild and weird exhibits I made a mental note to myself: must make sure I'm in Japan this time next year.
