Kawasaki KLR description

Up for sale is an excellent condition KLR 650 with many upgrades.  Within past year bike has been rebuilt with new Bearings and Races throughout.  Also has had suspension upgraded to progressive front and Rear.  Has upgraded Stainless steel brake lines, Off road Handlebars, and Gel grips.  The bike also has fairly new tires with 50/50 tread.  The FMF Q4 and fully jetted carb help this bike to run at its premium.  I have many extras as I purchased a parts bike during the rebuild.  Over $1500 in parts went into this upgrade.  Please contact me with questions.

Isle of Man TT 2014: Sure Sidecar TT 2 Results

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

Dave Molyneux won his 17th career TT as he and passenger Patrick Farrance took the second Sidecar race of the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Molyneux is the career leader in Sidecar TT wins and third overall in total Isle of Man TT victories behind Joey Dunlop and John McGuinness. Molyneux and Farrance won the race by a good 44-second margin but they benefited greatly from a mechanical problem plaguing early race leaders John Holden and Andrew Winkle.

EICMA 2011: Kawasaki Versys 1000 Not Coming to U.S.

Wed, 09 Nov 2011

While Kawasaki unveiled its Versys 1000 at EICMA, don’t expect to see it on American roadways any time soon (edit: but if you live north of the border in Canada you’re in luck, as it will offered for CN$13,999, a bit higher than the Z1000 but the same price as the Ninja 1000): What will we be missing? A bigger, badder version of the original Kawasaki Versys seems to be the answer. “Created as the long-awaited big brother of Kawasaki’s mid-size any-road street surfer, the new Versys 1000 is designed to enable the greatest riding enjoyment in the widest variety of street riding situations,” Kawasaki Motors Europe says in a release.
