1981 Kawasaki KL 250 motorcycle
This bike is in wonderful overall condition for its age. The red paint is in excellent condition, with minor fading to the plastic pieces. The fuel tank has a small dent, their is a minor tear in the seat, and the turn indicators are no longer on the bike, other than that it is in great working order. I bought this bike new in 1982 and it has been garage kept all of its life. I used this bike mostly for trail riding and a few small trips across town. There is less than 9000 miles on it. It runs great and usually starts off on the first or second kick. Great bike for the beginner, a short commute to work, or just out enjoying the trails. Please email with any questions. Isle of Man TT 2013: Lightweight TT Race Results
Fri, 07 Jun 2013James Hillier set new lap time and race time records in a dominating victory in the Lightweight TT race for the 2013 Isle of Man TT. All three of the Kawasaki rider’s lap times were faster than the previous lap record for the Lightweight TT class, for a record overall time of 57:42.245 and average speed of 117.694 mph. The race started with another Kawasaki rider (the class is dominated with Kawasaki Ninja 650s with a few Suzuki SV650s) Dean Harrison taking the early lead through the Glen Helen viewpoint but Hillier was right on his tail about half a second behind.

Kawasaki Patents Design for Naked Single
Wed, 05 Mar 2014Kawasaki has registered a design patent for what appears to be a naked version of its recently revealed 250cc single-cylinder Ninja RR Mono. While the Ninja RR Mono (also known in some markets as the Ninja 250SL) is produced for the Asian market, the new design is registered with the European Union’s Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market, making it more likely to arrive in western markets. The detailed design renderings reveal many clues indicating this is a naked version of the RR Mono.
