2001 Kawasaki KDX 220R, Legendary Trail Bike - The Kawasaki KDX220R takes the legendary design of the KDX200 a step further to offer all of the performance of a larger-displacement machine without the weight penalty. Tuned for more torque, the KDX220R is designed for tighter, lower-speed riding environments like tight woods that place a premium on low-end power and nimble handling. Kawasaki Reports Q1 2013-2014 Sales Results
Tue, 13 Aug 2013Kawasaki reported net sales of 67.4 billion yen (US$686.5 million) from its Motorcycle and Engine division for the first quarter ended June 30, 2013. That represents a 26.2% increase from the net sales of 53.4 billion yen reported in the same period of 2012. According to Kawasaki’s first quarter report, the Motorcycle and Engine division (which includes Jet Skis, ATVs and UTVs) saw sales of 127,000 units over the quarter, up from 115,000 units in the same period last year.

2013 AMA Supercross Houston Race Report
Mon, 08 Apr 2013Ryan Villopoto captured his fifth-consecutive AMA Supercross win and sixth in seven rounds with a victory in the main event at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider passed holeshot-taker Mike Alessi on the opening lap and led the rest of the way for the win. Alessi, riding the Motoconcepts Racing Suzuki RM-Z450, remained in the hunt for the first few laps but soon gave way to a group including Team Honda Muscle Milk’s Trey Canard, Red Bull KTM‘s Ryan Dungey and Yoshimura Suzuki’s James Stewart.
