1977 Custom Built Motorcycles Chopper on 2040-motos
Kawasaki Chopper tech info
Kawasaki Chopper description
Here at The Toy Factory, we are offing for auction, a 1977 custom springer chopper. It has a running 900cc KZ Kawasaki four cylinder, four carb engine. The engine is known to run very well but does leak gas from the far left carb while running. It's mounted in a Harley rigid frame. It would appear to have been cleanly modified to accept the springer front end. The front end Is just shy of four feet long from the end of the fork to the top of the triple tree. Has chrome Zbar handle bars to match the era of the bike. Custom paint in decent condition on the Harley tank and also on the back fender. Has a era correct tall sissy bar on the back which has not been painted yet. LED tail/brake light. Rear brakes only. Chrome front and back spoke rims. Decent tread on the tires. Front tire shows some cracking starting. The bike came into our shop as a trade and sits in my showroom. We did have it out and running to make sure it was functional. The couple things that were notable were the throttle cable being loose where it attaches to the bars, and the key when turned off did not stop power to the bike, and also the leaking carb that was mentioned earlier. I do not have knowledge of when the bike was built, or exactly how many miles are on it. It has a very West Coast feel to it and would take very little to have it road worthy as a daily driver or bar bike. I'll leave that to ur imagination. As always I'm more than willing to answer and and all questions about the chopper. I feel an educated buyer is a happy buyer. I am keeping the reserve low to make the bike more affordable.

Kawasaki Z250 SL Launched In Asia
Wed, 30 Apr 2014Kawasaki, today, launched the long-awaited streetfighter version of the Ninja 250 in Asia. Dubbed the Z250 SL (Super Lightweight), some may call it the baby Z1000. That nickname, while fitting, is already reserved for the standard Z250, which draws a middle ground in terms of riding position (and amount of plastic) between the Z250 SL and the supersport Ninja 250. Designed for the sports-minded urban commuter, Kawasaki heralds this lighter, racier alternative to the Z250 as the perfect companion for someone looking for Ninja-based performance, quick, nimble handling, and aggressive ergonomics.
