Honda Valkyrie description

Up for sale is my 2003 Honda Valkyrie. This bike is in super condition for it's age. It is just a super ride. I have owned it for a little over 3 years, with no issues. My time to ride is limited, so I am reluctantly, putting it on the market. It has quite a bit of after market chrome accessories, but not too much to make it look gaudy. The bike shows very well. I will let you look at the pics, and decide. This bike has a unique exhaust system on it. Three stacked on each side. I have not seen another set up like it. This has been an exceptional bike, reliable and worry free for as long as I have owned it.  It is a used bike and is sold "as is" with no warranty expressed or implied.

Not shown but items that come with the bike:  Throw over saddle bags with the stand off brackets, new front and rear fender chrome (splash guards) and a new tank bib.

A $300 dollar non refundable deposit is due via PayPal within 48 hours of purchase.  The balance due within 7 days via cash in person or cashier's check.  All checks will be given 7 business days to clear, before the motorcycle is released.  You may come and look at the bike if you wish.

Bike is available for pickup or inspection Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays only.  All shipping arrangements and costs are that of the buyer.

Mileage may vary some, not much, as I still ride as time allows.

Any questions e mail seller.  I will respond ASAP.

Top 10 EICMA Show Bikes You May Have Missed

Mon, 14 Nov 2011

Interesting motorcycles you probably didn't see1 of 11Next Last There’s no cave deep, mountain high or rock heavy enough to have thwarted news of Ducati’s 1199 Panigale superbike launch at the 2012 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. And a few models such as Honda’s NC700S and X, Kawasaki’s Versys 1000 and CRP’s Energica were unveiled without heavy prior fanfare, but gasps of surprise weren’t heard when the wraps were taken off Triumph’s Tiger 1200 Explorer, Husqvarna’s Nuda or MV Augusta’s F3 675 among others, whose existences were revealed months in advance of the show. What we’ve comprised below is our list Top 10 Bikes unveiled at EICMA that didn’t receive top billing but are certainly worthy of your attention.

Having a Randy Mamola moment

Thu, 10 May 2012

Back in 1985 Randy Mamola was captured on film performing the most miraculous save of all time, hanging on for dear life as his Honda NSR500 tried to fling him from his seat. Recently, we've seen some impromptu homages to the original with Jonathan Rea at Assen and the near-save from Jakub Kornfeil in the Moto3 race at Jerez. Now we have on-board footage of American racer Genki Hagata calming a high-side at the Infineon Raceway in California.

Proof: Change chain, gain power

Wed, 22 Jun 2011

Point six of a BHP may not sound like much but, in my book, any gain is a good gain, especially when it’s as simple as changing a chain and sprockets. After all, you're going to have to do it sooner or later when your old chain and sprockets die their death. I’ve always been interested in what gains are available in the drive train.
