Those who know Valkyries will immediately realize that this one is a great opportunity for a lucky buyer. While a careful eye will spot some small nicks and scratches, the paint and chrome are otherwise in very good condition, as shown in the photos. Stock and unmolested, this motorcycle has been very well maintained and ridden responsibly. The carburetors are clean and synchronized. Oil and filter are fresh. Tires have excellent wear left. Brake pads are new. Ride it across the country and enjoy the outstanding wind protection, the power, the sound and the practicality offered by the hard bags. When parked you will have a hard time taking your eyes off it. The cream/burgundy combination is considered the most beautiful by many. Most Valkyries of the late 1990s have 40-80k miles on them. Yes, even an 80k mile Valkyrie can ride forever, but why not have another 70k miles of enjoyment? I hate to part with this bike but I need some cash for my business. Mon, 24 Feb 2014The 2014 World Supersport season opened in dramatic fashion after a red-flagged restart turned the 18-lap race into a five-lap sprint, with MV Agusta making a triumphant return to the top of the podium for the first time since 1976. The Supersport event began with a hard-fought battle between three-time champion Kenan Sofuoglu, Kev Coghlan and Michael van der Mark. Sofuoglu and his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R held a slim lead over Coghlan’s Yamaha R6 and van der Mark’s Honda CBR600RR when the race was halted after CIA Insurance Honda rider Jack Kennedy suffered an engine problem and leaked oil onto the track.
