2003 Honda Shadow ACE, 2003 Honda Shadow ACE VT750 Deluxe $3500 obo. 2nd owner. 16895 miles. I purchased it June 2010 and put 9415 highway and country road miles on it. Never been dropped. I changed the color of the bike from the frame up. Added new chain, Cobra pipes, LED light kit and chrome accents. It's never broke down and has NO PROBLEMS! I have the extra seat (I filled the hole but you can pop it out if you plan on taking passengers, but then there is a hole in the fender). Photos... 2012 Honda NC700X Recalled in Canada
Wed, 19 Sep 2012Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2012 Honda NC700X and (Edit: the recall now includes the NC700S, which is also available in Canada). At this point, the recall is only for the X model and only in Canada, but a similar recall may come from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for the U.S.-spec Honda NC700X. According to Transport Canada, the outer plates on the links of the drive chain may not have received proper heat treatment.
2010-2011 Honda Shadow VT750 Recall
Mon, 13 Jun 2011Honda has initiated a recall campaign for certain 2010-2011 Shadow series cruisers due to a problem with their bank angle sensors. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the bank angle sensors may incorrectly read that the motorcycle is leaning. The bank sensor uses a weighted pendulum that swings into a motorcycle’s lean.
