Honda Other description

This is an awesome police motorcycle ready to go on patrol or funeral escort.  All the controls are Honda standard and integrated with the exception of the rear blue running lights to which I had an auxilairy switch installed.  Comes with all the Whelen LED light heads, which can be turned on rear first, then all.  The siren controller directs a Federal siren to yelp, wail then air horn.  The horn switch is also hooked up to the Federal siren and uses the air horn.

Go to YouTube to see a video of the lights and siren controller:http://youtu.be/exr9OxZAzX0

Buyer will have to deposit $500 immediately, the remaining can be paid in CASH upon final paperwork and pick-up.

The milage is correct, the story on the bike is that I purchased it from a Funeral Home in the Cincinnati area, however the funeral home decided to contract their escorts rather than do thier own.  They had purchased it from a Dealership, brand new, in Tenn.  So the bike had sat for most of the time unused, my plan was to use it as a back-up at my former police dept., however that really never happened.

If you want the motorcycle without the lights and siren, I will take $1,000.00 off the price.

If you want me to deliver the bike to you, I will travel no more than about 500 miles at the most, however deliver will be $1.20 a mile (one way) for delivery.

Feel free to contact me with with questions.  I have a reserve on the bike, if you are really interested, then contact me.

Thanks

Looking after number 1

Fri, 06 Jan 2012

There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.

2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 3 Results

Mon, 03 Feb 2014

Chad Reed tasted victory for the second time in three weeks at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., leading all 20 laps and fending off a last-lap challenge from rookie upstart Ken Roczen. Reed, who also won the Jan. 18 round in the second of three Anaheim races, now trails fellow Kawasaki rider Ryan Villopoto by just two points in the 2014 AMA Supercross championship race.

Honda’s View of the Motorcycle Industry in Canada

Fri, 13 Aug 2010

Recently here on Motorcycle.com, we’ve been bringing you reviews of a handful of Honda scoots that are available to our neighbors (or is that neighbours?) to the North in Canada, yet remain forbidden fruit for American consumers. Reviewer Costa Mouzouris gave us a look at the naked CB1000R that Honda Canada is considering importing, the already-available half-faired CBF1000, and the entry-level CBR125R. Meanwhile, Honda’s competitors have also announced some new products for Canada that have yet to be made available in the U.S.
