Honda Other description

Pictured here is a restored 1986 Honda TR 200 Fat Cat electric starter and kick start. This bike has been a project of mine for the past 6 mnths the frame and all white parts have been sand blasted down to metal and POWDERCOATED not spray painted!!!. Honda produced this bike in 1986 and 1987 only and I am the 2nd owner of the bike. This bike runs just as good as it looks- awesome! and very fun to ride NEW OEM Honda parts installed: new drive chain and sprockets swing arm bushings and dust seals Throttle cable front brake cable rear brake cable hand grips Brake levers piston and rings, oversized cylinder new valves and seals top end gaskets new cam sprocket and crank sprocket new cam chain new carburetor rebuilt starter parts air filter battery bulbs (headlight and indicator) seat recover brake pads Plastics, front fender, rear fender, side panels, head light bezel rear fender side panels Decals all muffler baffle new tail light lens new front tire inner tube (rear tire) spark plug The fuel tank has been replaced with a better pre-owned and has a very small blemish on the right side, the fuel spigot has been cleaned and glass beaded. The chain guard has some blemishes and has been painted and the same goes for the forward exhaust heat shield that needs some fabrication which will be done before delivery. This bike performs exactly the way it was designed to, its quite fast for a 'big wheel' and very stable due to the long wheel base. The sound of this 200cc is just a bit louder than a stock 200cc ATV but is deeper toned and not abusive. Prospective buyers should contact this seller for professional door to door shipping via motorcycle shipping specialists.

Honda Personal Mobility Concept U3-X [video]

Wed, 05 May 2010

Using technology derived from the ASIMO bi-pedal humanoid robot, Honda has developed a new personal mobility concept called the U3-X. If this proves successful, owners may never have to walk again. Check out a video of the U3-X in action below the jump.

Awesome Anaheim Supercross

Fri, 11 Jan 2013

The highlight of this winter has to be my visit to last week’s Anaheim Californian Supercross.  I’ve followed this spectacular series on Motors TV but the atmosphere while watching the action live is something else. Forty five Yankee dollars gets you a good seat high in the stadium, with practice starting at 12.30pm and the main event kicking off at 7.30pm. If you are making a day of it however, I’d recommend buying a pit pass then you can get in full anorak mode to hassle the teams and riders for autographs and photos.  We conveniently made some new friends allowing us to do some pre event ‘tail gating’, a great concept which is basically barbecuing and downing beer around your vehicle in the surrounding car parks.  The evening race schedule is four hours of nonstop action starting with the capacity crowd standing for the American national anthem sung by a stunning blonde with a huge voice.

Schwantz School, the ultimate track experience?

Mon, 22 Aug 2011

If having one-to-one instruction from an ex-MotoGP World Champion is your dream, then why not put the Schwantz School on your Christmas list for 2012. Ok, it’s in America and slightly more expensive than your average track day ($2750 for two days at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway) but many satisfied customers will argue this is the best rider training experience in the world. Your hard earned Dollar will see you alternate between the classroom and track from 8am until 4pm, then Kevin will take you on a track tour where he explains riding techniques and answers questions (he even drives the bus).
