2001 Honda Sabre , Awesome bike in excellent condition! I am the second owner. I bought it stock and added Hard Krome 2-3/4 Big Straight pipes, heel rests, removable National Cycle locking hard bags, a National Cycle quick release windshield (no tools necessary), Lindby highway bars, luggage rack and sissy bar, chrome horn cover and tail light cover. Will also throw in a cover and T-Bag travel bag with net top and roll if interested...only used 5 or 6 times. I have taken several long trips on this bike so the majority of the miles are highway miles. This bike has been my baby and it breaks my heart to sell it, but I am moving and have no place to store it. I am taking it in to be serviced later this week (new battery, oil change, etc.) so it may not be available to see in person until after Monday, September 30th. There is a minor scratch on the front fender which was there when I bought it and a minor ding on the rear fender which did not break the paint...not very noticeable. Classic Japanese Bikes Highlight Bonhams’ Next Auction
Mon, 07 Oct 2013Bonhams’ annual fall auction, the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show, at Stafford County Showground is scheduled for October 20, 2013. Included in the auction is the above pictured 1974 Kawasaki H1-RW 500cc triple. Expected to sell for approximately $96,000 to $112,000, the Japanese works Grand Prix racer is one of only two machines built by the factory for the French Kawasaki importer SIDEMM for use in the 500cc World Championship. The bikes were ridden during the 1974 season by the French endurance racing specialist Christian Léon and French-Canadian Formula 750 star Yvon Duhamel.

Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment. Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions. Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.
2012 Honda CBR1000RR Leaked
Thu, 18 Aug 2011Pictures of the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR have leaked from a distributor in Hong Kong, revealing some updates including a Showa Big Piston Fork, updated display and styling facelifts. The photos show the new Honda Fireblade (as it’s known in other markets) in HRC tri-color trim which, judging from color options offered on other recent Honda models, won’t be available in the U.S. 2012 also marks the 20th year of the RR so an special anniversary paint scheme might be offered.
