THE BIKE HAS A CHARGED BATTERY IN IT, ALL ELECTRICS WORK, EXCEPT LEFT FRONT BLINKER. ENGINE TURNS OVER FINE WITH THE ELECTRIC STARTER BUTON. GUAGE LIGHTS WORK, HORN WORKS. BRAKE LIGHTS WORK. THE BIKE SAT NOT USED FOR SEVERAL YEARS. THE REAR BRAKE CALIPER IS MISSING. THE ORIGINAL KEY IS PRESENT. THE ENGINE TURNS OVER FINE, WITH THE ELECTRIC STARTER. *****I HAVE NEVER HEARD THE BIKE RUN. GSX-R600 and CBR250R the glass is half full
Wed, 13 Oct 2010Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong. As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.
2013 AMA Daytona 200 Race Report
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Cameron Beaubier led a parade of Yamaha YZF-R6 racebikes to win the 72nd running of the famed Daytona 200. The Yamaha Extended Service Graves Yamaha rider started from pole position and led for 50 of 57 laps before winning by a 22.254-second margin. Behind Beaubier were four other R6 riders including his teammate Garret Gerloff who finished second.
