2013 Honda CB150R Streetfire Unveiled in Indonesia

Honda‘s Indonesian affiliate Astra Honda Motor unveiled a new CB150R Streetfire at the Jakarta Motorcycle Show. At this point, the Streetfire is only destined for the Indonesia market as the naked version of the Honda CBR150R (which itself a smaller version of the CBR250R), but it does give us an idea of what a potential CB250R would look like, if Honda decides to produce one. The Honda CB150R Streetfire is powered by the 150cc liquid-cooled  engine as the CBR150R.

After a successful 2013 campaign in the 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, where Honda’s own Jeff Tigert won the Pikes Peak 450 class and set a new record, Honda is stepping up its involvement for 2014, as both a sponsor and race participant, with plans to field products in seven distinct race classes. In addition, Honda will be working with the AMA and the Pikes Peak sanctioning body on improvements which will provide new levels of safety to the Motorcycle / ATV / UTV / Sidecar competitors. 2013 AMA Supercross Houston Race Report

Ryan Villopoto captured his fifth-consecutive AMA Supercross win and sixth in seven rounds with a victory in the main event at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider passed holeshot-taker Mike Alessi on the opening lap and led the rest of the way for the win. Alessi, riding the Motoconcepts Racing Suzuki RM-Z450, remained in the hunt for the first few laps but soon gave way to a group including Team Honda Muscle Milk’s Trey Canard, Red Bull KTM‘s Ryan Dungey and Yoshimura Suzuki’s James Stewart.
