nice original 1974 XL350 out of long term storage. 7700 miles. good condition, will need carb service and tank clean to run. ran when parked a few years ago. electrics work, shifts through gears, clutch engages, brakes work. seat has no tears, tank solid, no cracks in plastic, exhaust complete and nice with baffle intact. new tires and tubes that are OEM correct. just a nice unmolested original.

We ran a couple of stories last week - both, coincidentally, about new Kawasakis. One was the first peek of the new ZX10R – hot stuff you’d imagine – the other, the new W800 retro parallel twin. I suppose it shouldn’t have shocked us, which story was most popular in terms of hits but it really does mark a seismic shifts in British biking attitudes that the W800 story doubled the hits of the ZX10 piece.

Provisional 2012 World Superbike Championship Entry List Released

The International Motorcycling Federation has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 World Superbike Championship. The preliminary list includes 24 entries representing six manufacturers: Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Noticeably absent is Yamaha which announced last summer it would pull out of WSBK racing.
