1973 Honda TL 125, I bought this motorcycle from the estate of the original owner who was a friend of mine. It had been sitting in a heated garage for several decades. I had it running in 2006 but decided last fall to get a complete nine month frame-off restoration at a well known restoration shop in Ohio. No expense was spared in this restoration which cost in excess of $4500. The 4-stroke engine was also rebuilt and always starts on the first kick. I realize that this is expensive for this bike, but if you want most likely the best example on the planet of a Honda TL 125, Honda's first production Trials motorbike, this is it. Results From Day 1 Of Second Sepang MotoGP Test
Wed, 26 Feb 2014With the absence of Marc Marquez from the second Sepang MotoGP test, due to a broken leg suffered in a training accident, another Honda rider took his place at the top of the time sheets, though it’s not who you might think. Alvaro Bautista on the Gresini Honda set the fastest time at the end of the first day with a 2:00.848. The time is 1.3 second slower than the fastest time Marquez set at the last Sepang test.

John McGuinness, second on the all-time TT wins list, added two more wins to his resume to win the Joey Dunlop Trophy while MotoCzysz once again fell just short of taking the bounty for being the first electric motorcycle team to record a 100 mph lap on the Mountain Course. The 2011 Isle of Man TT also had its share of tragedy with three racing fatalities.
Honda Trademarks Design for Naked CBR300R
Thu, 06 Mar 2014Earlier this week, we uncovered Kawasaki‘s design trademark for a naked version of its 250cc single-cylinder Ninja RR Mono. It now looks like Kawasaki isn’t the only Japanese manufacturer with a small-displacement naked model on the way. Honda has registered a trademark on the design for a new motorcycle that appears to be a naked CBR300R or CBR250R.
