Honda Other description

For sale is a 1973 CB350F w/ 30,500mis*UPDATE: Within the last 100mis, the bike has developed a small oil leak between the cylinder head cover and cylinder head, on the right side of the engine. After a short 20 mi ride, I notice a build up of oil on a few of the engine cooling fins. The oil does not amount to much, but it is something that will need to be looked at. The gasket will need to be replaced eventually ($15-20 part on ebay). The cylinder head cover can be removed with the engine still mounted in the frame. I would suggest the gasket be replaced before the warmer summer months. A thinner oil will probably leak a little faster.Story: My dad bought this bike in 1987 from a guy he worked with in Everett. The guy pre-owned it as a commuter bike to and from work, hence the mileage. For 25 yrs, the bike sat in the garage until last October, when I decided to get it up and running again.Within the last year, the following had been done to the bike:Carbs dismantled, cleaned, rebuilt, and syncedValve clearance adjustedTiming setPoints gapedCam-chain adjustedNew front and rear JT sprockets (stock 17/38t setup)New DID 530 ChainNew Battleaxe Bt45 tires (90/90 front 110/80 rear)New Yuasa batteryNew spark plugs and caps (NGK)New speedometer cableNew air filterNew aftermarket (EMGO) aluminum fork ears (aka headlamp brackets)Fork oil drained and replaced with ATFFront brake caliper dismantled, bead-blasted, and rebuilt (new caliper seal)Front brake line flushedTriple tree bead blastedOil pan removed, cleaned, and back on with new gasketOil pump cleaned and rebuiltOil pump screen cleanedCollectors plates!Everything on the bike works: signals, lamps, horn, electronic starter, speedometer, tachometer, neutral light, oil light. The bike was originally matador flake red but in pretty rough condition, so I sanded it down and now the bike is primer gray. Paint it whatever color you want! The exhaust is a MAC four into 2 I believe. The bike isn't perfect:There is some pitting on the chrome wheels, mufflers, handle bars, and other chrome odds and ends. There is currently some surface rust here and there (header collars/foot-peg mounts, see images)The engine could use a cleaning or soda blast (never been rebuilt)There is a small ripple in the front fenderNo kickstand, center stand onlyScuff on headlamp bucket near chrome headlamp bezelOverall the bike runs great, rides nice, and shifts easily. It is very smooth with little vibration in the foot-pegs. It accelerates nicely all the way to redline (10K!). The torque isn't amazing but at around 5-6K rpm, it picks up the pace. I've taken this bike on the freeway numerous times. Keep in mind you'll be around 6-7k rpm in 5 speed on the freeway. The oil and filter were changed ~ 200mis ago with 20-50W Valvoline motorcycle oil (non-synthetic, K&N filter). You may want to switch back to 10-40W if you plan on riding this winter.Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PaKyld40kIYAsking $1500.Clear title.Call or email Brandon. Thanks!honda cb cb350f cb350 cafe

2014 WSBK – Sepang Results

Mon, 09 Jun 2014

The first ever World Superbike round in Malaysia offered a plenty of drama including both factory Kawasaki riders crashing out on the first lap, a red flagged second race and an overall impressive outing by Aprilia. Under pressure for his lack of results so far this season, Marco Melandri impressed, earning the double for his first career wins on the RSV4 Factory. Aprilia riders led every lap in both races at Sepang, including the red-flagged initial start for Race 2, with Sylvain Guintoli joining his teammate on the podium with a pair of second-place finishes.

Rossi vs. Schumacher

When I was a kid, my friends and I would always have this debate on who would be fastest in a race, Superman or the Flash. I always felt that the Flash would be faster because speed’s his thing. He wears a lightning bolt on his chest because he’s as fast as lightning.
