THIS IS A RECENT REAL BARN FIND, A 1972 HONDA SL175 MOTOSPORT WITH ONLY 1994. ORIGINAL MILES. BIKE LOOKS TO BE ALL ORIGINAL INCLUDING THE BRIDGESTONE TIRES. WHEN WE GOT IT THE LEFT SIDE COVER WAS MISSING SO WE AQUIRED A NOS NEW ORIGINAL HONDA ONE FOR IT. THE BIKE WAS JUST SERVICED BY A CERTIFIED HONDA TECH. AND STARTS RIGHT UP AND RUNS AND RIDES GREAT. INSIDE THE GAS TANK HAD SOME SURFACE RUST SO IT WAS CLEANED AND SEALED INSIDE. THE BIKE IN GENERAL IS IN GOOD ORIGINAL CONDITION BUT IT DOES HAVE SOME RUST SPOTS ON THE UPPER FORK TUBES, HEADLIGHT EARS, AND SOME OF THE OTHER CHROMED PIECES. SEAT IS IN GREAT SHAPE WITH NO CRACKS, CUTS OR RIPS AND STILL HAS THE TOOL KIT MOUNTED UNDERNEATH. ALL THE LIGHTS, HORN ETC. WORK FINE. BIKE COMES WITH A CLEAR FLORIDA TITLE. Barber Recognized by Guinness as World’s Largest Motorcycle Museum
Mon, 28 Apr 2014Guinness World Records has officially recognized the Barber Motorsports Museum as the world’s largest motorcycle museum in the world. The 144,000-square-foot, five-story museum is home to nearly 1400 motorcycles, of which about 700 are on exhibit. We’ve featured the Barber Museum before, and are completely blown away each time we step foot within its doors. It’s simply awe-inspiring.
Nicky Hayden Makes Aspar Team Debut Testing Honda RCV1000R
Tue, 12 Nov 2013American racer Nicky Hayden made his first appearance with the Aspar Team, testing the Honda RCV1000R production racer at the official MotoGP post-season test at Spain’s Valencia circuit. Hayden completed 76 laps on the RCV1000R, posting a top lap time of 1:32.576, putting him 13th on the time sheet. The test time was 0.188 seconds faster than his top lap time in Sunday’s race at Valencia on the Ducati Desmosedici.
