EXCELLENT APPEARANCE AS PHOTOS SHOW. NEW SEAT AND PASSENGER BACKREST. CHROME AND EMBLEMS ALL SHARP, EXCELLENT CONDITION. 

+++++EVERYTHING WORKS+++ (INCLUDING CASSETTE PLAYER) 

MANY (INCLUDING ME) PREFER THE 1500 TO THE NEWER GL1800 MODEL. THE 1500 HAS A MORE "CUSH" RIDE, MORE STORAGE CAPACITY, A HIGHER RATED LOAD CAPACITY, AND HAD NONE OF THE ISSUES THE 1800'S HAVE HAD. (AND, LOTS LESS COST!!!)

HONDA STARTED A "WHOLE NEW BALLGAME" WITH THE INTRODUCTION OF THE FIRST GOLDWING IN 1975 AND THE GL1500 WAS A QUANTUM LEAP FROM EVEN THE "NEW FROM THE FRAME UP" PREVIOUS EDITION GL1200 THE GL1500 WAS THE FIRST WITH STANDARD:

STARTING WITH THE '95 MODELS, THE SEAT HEIGHT WAS LOWERED OVER AN INCH TO BETTER ACCOMODATE "INSEAM CHALLENGED" RIDERS. ALSO, STARTED THE LARGER CHROME FAIRING, IMPROVED THE SUSPENSION, AND OTHER IMPROVEMENTS. 

GOLDWINGS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN KNOWN FOR LONGEVITY AND RELIABILITY AND THE 1500 RAISED THE BAR CONSIDERABLY HERE. MANY 1500'S ARE STILL GOING STRONG WITH 300K, 400K OR MORE MILES WITHOUT OVERHAUL. HAVE ACTUALLY SEEN A COUPLE OVER 500K, NO OVERHAUL. (NO, WON'T GET THAT OUT OF YOUR V-TWIN AIR COOLED HARLEY.)

 AS STATED IN SPECIFICS, BIKE DOES HAVE A UTAH+++REBUILT-RESTORED UTAH TITLE" +++THAT MEANS HAS BEEN SAFETY INSPECTED FOR ALL SAFETY ITEMS AND IS READY FOR REGISTRATION.  

BIKE WAS INVOLVED IN A MINOR  ACCIDENT RESULTING IN SOME PLASTIC AND REAR SUB-FRAME (SUPPORTS TRUNK AND SADDLEBAGS) DAMAGE. REPLACED REAR SUB-FRAME. SADDLEBAGS AND SIDE COVERS ARE ORIGINAL PAINT REPLACEMENTS.  FAIRING, FRONT FENDER, AND MIRRORS WERE REPAINTED PROFESSIONALLY AND ARE EXCELLENT.

CARBURETORS WERE  RECENTLY PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED AND REBUILT. 

TIRES ARE EXCELLENT, APPROX 75% TREAD REMAINING ON BOTH 

BIKE LOOKS JUST LIKE THE PHOTOS AND HAS GOTTEN COMPLIMENTS WHEREVER I'VE TAKEN IT. 

AS STATED EARLIER, RUNS AND SHIFTS PERFECTLY. NOT EVEN BROKEN IN WITH ONLY 17K MILES.   

CAN SHIP TO MANY SOUTHWEST LOCATIONS FOR $300 OR LESS. STILL GREAT FALL RIDING WEATHER IF YOU WANT TO FLY IN AND RIDE IT BACK HOME THROUGH SOME BEAUTIFUL FALL ROCKY MOUNTAIN SCENERY. SALT LAKE INTERNATIONAL IS CLOSEST AIRPORT. YOU GET THERE, I'LL GET YOU AND BIKE TOGETHER.

The 2014 models are powered by a 260cc, 4-stroke Single with electronic fuel injection that features a decompression system for reducing reverse engine torque, making the 4-stroke engine resemble the free-wheeling effect of a 2-stroke.

Honda Reports Q4 2011-2012 Results

Honda set a new record for most motorcycles sold in any quarter over the first three months of 2012. The Japanese manufacturer sold 3.456 million motorcycles over the quarter ended March 31, 2012, capping off its 2011-2012 fiscal year. By comparison, Honda sold just 2.934 million units over the same quarter last year.

2014 Honda CTX700 Recalled in Canada for ABS Issue

Transport Canada announced a recall for the new Honda CTX700 because of a manufacturing error in its anti-lock braking system. The Canadian recall applies to both the CTX700N and the partially-faired CTX700T (known simply as the Honda CTX700 in the U.S. market and other markets.) According to the recall notice, the ABS modulator may have been manufactured incorrectly and could potentially fail, allowing the front and/or rear wheels to lock up under heavy braking, increasing the risk of a crash.
