Honda Gold Wing description

1984 Honda Gold Wing 1200, This is a very well preserved 1984 Honda Goldwing 1200cc trike. It has about 80,000 miles and runs like any Honda four cylinder, liquid cooled motor with 80K miles, which is great. The trike kit was from a company called Tri-Wing and was professionally installed by Booth Cycle in Ft. Smith just two years ago. It has a mustang rear end. I recently had neck (spine) surgery and I don't want to ride it in the future due to fears I may damage something that I can't fix. The bike is extremely solid and safe and fun to ride, by one's self or two-up. This bike is smaller than most Goldwing trikes, which I like. The seat is after-market and feels wonderful on the butt. It has plenty of storage and will out accelerate almost any car. In addition to the locking trunk, there is a luggage rack on the back for extras and a locking glove box area on the tank area. The AM/FM radio and speakers work well, as does the dash clock and all lights. It has a cassette tape player also. The after market exhaust purrs, especially when you get over 3,000 rpm. The tires are in great shape also. Come ride it. You will like it. I will consider a reasonable offer, but no lo-balling. (479) 997-8579, ask for Bill. $8,500.00 4799978579

Hero MotoCorp Launches 125cc Ignitor in India

Tue, 03 Jul 2012

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Ignitor, a 125cc premium model based on the CBF Stunner from former partner turned rival Honda. The Ignitor is one of the final models Hero will produce with technology licensed from Honda, and it is expected to bridge the gap before Hero introduces its own new models (with help from a gentleman named Erik Buell.) Like the Stunner, the Hero Ignitor is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine. Both models claim 11hp and 8 ft-lb., but the Ignitor reaches its peak torque at 5000 rpm while the Stunner has to spin up to 6500 rpm.

Stoner Tests Honda RCV1000R MotoGP Production Racer

Thu, 03 Oct 2013

Retired two-time MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner returned to the track this week to test Honda‘s RC213V racer as well as the company’s new RCV1000R production racer at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit in Japan. This was Stoner’s first test on the production racer after rain cut short a previous test session in August. The weather again threatened to derail Honda’s testing plans, wiping out the first day of the two-day test but Stoner was able to finally able to put in some laps on the production racer and came away impressed.
