Honda CL description

Vintage 1973 Honda CL 350 VERY CLEAN, STARTS & is street ready. With new battery, spark plugs, wires, hoses replaced and newly painted frame with ONLY 4856 ORIGINAL Miles on it....she gleams in every mans desire to own. Meaning owned with a clear title that is. My baby was in webs when I purchased her back in 1994 from an elderly retired cyclist collector. Said he drove it a few times after getting in brand new and had gotten board with it and managed to keep her looking like a beauty from 76-94 and with the number of orginal miles on it, you know it had to be true.

When i purchased it i reconditioned the paint on the entire frame and replaced the hoses including a brand new battery and maitinenced it with fluids and so forth. I really hate to part with my dear baby but i have overwhelmed myself with boy toys so she has to move on. I really require a good bidding back ground for her because i only want to see it go in goof hands and to a good home....Perferablly a collector.

Local Pick up can be arranged if your close to the Saint Joseph Area but your best bet is to pay around $300-500 depending on where you live to have it hauled to you and I would definatley feel better about her getting to you safely>>>>>>

However if you do choose to have it locally picked up I will require a $700.00 immediate deposit to understand and fully know your interest are serious in the purchase of this road QUEEN!!!

Ofcourse no checks

Pay Pal and all major CC are accepted.

Serious bidders with only Serious Interest or i will just end the auction and sell it locally.

I hate to see her part if i end up finding the right buyer but she's been good and she's definatly rare in this good of condition. Glimmers in chrome day or night

IF more Pictures need to be taken for you just let me know. Answers are welcome to any questions you may have also.
Good Luck

Electric Motorcycle Conversion [video]

Fri, 30 Jul 2010

If you were ever curious how to convert your smelly, noisy and dirty gas powered motorcycle into a quiet and zero emissions electric motorcycle then you have to check this video out from GomiStyle.  They take an old Honda Rebel 250 and customize the frame to accommodate the electric motor and batteries, they claim the conversion should take about two to three days to complete, the batteries will take about 5-8 hours to charge and will give you a top speed of 45 mph. Here is a link to the step-by-step instructions, check out the video after the jump. The GomiCycle – An Electric Motorcycle Conversion from Media Sapien on Vimeo.

Helmet Law Upheld in Ontario

Tue, 16 Jun 2009

A Sikh in Ontario, Canada, has lost his challenge to the $110 ticket he received back in September 2005 for not wearing a helmet while riding his Honda Shadow.  Baljinder Badesha, 39, claims the Ontario helmet law is “100 per cent” discrimination no matter what the safety issues are when riding without a helmet. We cannot put anything over the turban, it is against our religion.  Mr. Badesha said outside court.

British motorcycle design studio Xenophya Design and product designer Ellis Pitt have teamed up to produce a new company, Mac Motorcycles. Based out of Upton-Upon-Severn in Worcestershire, England, Mac Motorcycles will produce a line of bikes powered by Buell’s air-cooled single cylinder 492cc engines used in the Blast, with a tubular backbone frame. On the company’s website, Pitt describes its bikes as being simple to maintain, include references and details from choppers and bobbers and feature “Harley posture, flat-track manners, Ducati handling”.
