Honda CBR description

This auction is for a 2009 CBR1000RR. This bike is an original Repsol model - VIN #00015. It has 20105 miles on it currently. I am the 2nd owner and bought the bike with 3300 miles on it in 2012 from the original owner. It is in excellent condition.

Extras include:
- LoJack
- 1500 miles on Michelin Power Pure 3 tires in 190/55, 120/70
- Core Moto St St front brake lines
- Cox radiator guard
- Hotbodies undertail
- TechSpec tank pads
- OEM Solo cowl seat cover
- Yoshimura R77 slip on
- Moto D 90deg valve stems
- Sato Street Hooks - OEM passenger pegs will bolt on to these

Oil and filter was just changed and has been approximately every 3500 miles. Oil used is Mobil 1 10w-40 Racing 4t synthetic.
The tip of the Yoshi exhaust has a small dent and scratch. The undertail has some chipped paint from debris from riding. There are also 2 holes in the undertail that were from a previous license plate bracket. There is also a scratch on the gas tank filler cap from my key. I have the clear title in hand.

***Pitbull stands are not included***

A $500 non- refundable deposit is due at the end of auction with the remaining payment due within 7 days of the end of the auction. Cash or bank check only. If paying by bank check the check must clear before I release the bike. I have been given fraudulent bank checks in the past. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. With all that said I will work with the buyer in any way needed to help ensure a smooth deal.

Please ask any/all questions BEFORE bidding. I will respond ASAP.

Local pickup is an option. Arrangements can also be made to see the bike in person before bidding. The bike is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells.

Isle of Man TT 2012: Supersport TT Race 1 Results

Mon, 04 Jun 2012

Padett’s Honda racer Bruce Anstey won the first Monster Energy Supersport TT race of the 2012 Isle of Man TT by a mere 0.77 seconds over rider Cameron Donald. The race could have been even closer if Gary Johnson, another Honda rider, hadn’t run out of gas on the final lap. Before he ran out of fuel, Johnson was in the mix with Anstey and Donald with just 0.62 seconds separating the three riders.

Gardner chilling out and taking it easy

Wed, 14 Jul 2010

Away from the pressures of being a Grand Prix racer in the days when fierce on-track battles and unexpected highsides were common place, Wayne Gardner throws a Honda VFR750F around Oran Park in Australia. The bike that Wayne is likely to be riding is special VFR750F, that was given the codename '6X'. The VFR was an experiment with prototype components including titanium valves and magnesium flat-slide carburetors, the result was the bike that weighed less than a factory RC30.

Looking after number 1

Fri, 06 Jan 2012

There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.
