Street Legal with approved mirror and blinker kit for $150 ( Not Included ). New seat upholstery, clean crisp throttle and power band, - Clean Title ! 1 Owner Bike. Also comes with the factory service manual which I printed out and have in a 3 ring binder. Bike does not currently start - needs an overhaul of the Fuel system due to sitting with old gas in the lines for a year. Cleaning of the Gas Tank and a Carburetor Kit as well as a new rubber fuel hose is likely to be all this bike will need to kick right up and start running again. New Petcock was recently installed. RealTree Camoflauge Duct Tape is a bit faded from the sun and the chain needs to be lubed, New rear tire recommended. American Honda Pledges $500,000 in Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief
Fri, 02 Nov 2012American Honda announced a pledge of $500,000 to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy. The contribution includes both monetary aide as well as Honda-produced portable generators and water pumps. Honda is also establishing a company fund, matching its associates’ personal contributions.
2010-2011 Honda Shadow VT750 Recall
Mon, 13 Jun 2011Honda has initiated a recall campaign for certain 2010-2011 Shadow series cruisers due to a problem with their bank angle sensors. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the bank angle sensors may incorrectly read that the motorcycle is leaning. The bank sensor uses a weighted pendulum that swings into a motorcycle’s lean.
WSBK: 2011 Utah Results
Tue, 31 May 2011Carlos Checa extended his lead in the 2011 World Superbike Championship, winning both races at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park. The Althea Ducati racer recorded his second double of the season and now has six wins in ten races. Checa also scored the double in Utah in 2008 when Miller Motorsports Park made its debut on the WSBK calendar.
