Honda XL75 tech info
Honda XL75 description
Up for bid is likely the most perfect example of an original 1977 Honda XL75 in existence. This is a two owner 72 mile bike. I am selling for friend whom bought from the original owner. After almost 40 years of sitting covered in a dry clean garage the bike was brought back to life with a simple fuel system cleaning, a battery and some minor tuning. Outside of the batttery and an air filter element everything is as sold new in 1977. This bike is certainly museum quality. A collectors dream. The bike starts easily & runs very well. It shifts fine through all gears. It is ready to ride, display or use as you wish. All lights and gauges work as intended. The original tires are as new. All in all this bike is incredible. Feel free to contact me for more details. Or, call contact the owner Bob at 734-429-2918 or 734-323-5737 for more info. Note: Clear Michigan Title. Bike can be picked up or will ship from Saline Michigan 48176. Payment due within 72 hours of auction end. I will help buyer with shipping and can provide a quote if requested. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. Honda ST70, st 90, ST-90, ct70 ct 70, z 50 Z50, sl70, sl 70, xl70, xl 70 Powered by eBay Turbo Lister The free listing tool. EICMA 2013: 2014 Honda VFR800F
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Gracing the new 2014 VFR800F is traction control, ABS, heated grips, adjustable seat height and self-canceling blinkers. The V-Four-powered machine has been re-tuned for greater low and mid-range torque, and also receives a new telescopic fork, Pro-arm swingarm, wheels, new, slimmer bodywork and styling. Starting with the 782cc V4-VTEC engine, Honda engineers focused mainly on cam timing and valve duration/overlap to increase low-to midrange power and torque, claiming 104.5 hp @ 10,250 rpm and 55.4 ft-lbs of torque @ 8,500 rpm. Bore and stroke is 72mm x 48mm, with compression ratio of 11.8:1. VTEC valve timing still operates one pair of inlet/exhaust valves per cylinder at low rpm, and then switches to four as revs rise. Honda’s single-mode Traction Control System (TCS) is fitted as standard equipment and is operated from the left handlebar.

He's teamed up with motorsports promoter M1 to create Ben Bostrom Events, a company that plans to host world-class cycling and running races across the US. According to a press release, the high-intensity events will feature an 'entertainment-filled atmosphere', combining many of the familiar elements found at other MOB (mud, obstacles, beer) racing events.

Tue, 01 Oct 2013The Pata Honda racing team announced it has re-signed Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam to compete in the 2014 World Superbike Championship. It’s been a disappointing season for both rider, thanks in large part to injuries.
