Those who know Valkyries will immediately realize that this one is a great opportunity for a lucky buyer. While a careful eye will spot some small nicks and scratches, the paint and chrome are otherwise in very good condition, as shown in the photos. Stock and unmolested, this motorcycle has been very well maintained and ridden responsibly. The carburetors are clean and synchronized. Oil and filter are fresh. Tires have excellent wear left. Brake pads are new. Ride it across the country and enjoy the outstanding wind protection, the power, the sound and the practicality offered by the hard bags. When parked you will have a hard time taking your eyes off it. The cream/burgundy combination is considered the most beautiful by many. Most Valkyries of the late 1990s have 40-80k miles on them. Yes, even an 80k mile Valkyrie can ride forever, but why not have another 70k miles of enjoyment? I hate to part with this bike but I need some cash for my business. Isle of Man TT 2013: Lightweight TT Race Results
Fri, 07 Jun 2013James Hillier set new lap time and race time records in a dominating victory in the Lightweight TT race for the 2013 Isle of Man TT. All three of the Kawasaki rider’s lap times were faster than the previous lap record for the Lightweight TT class, for a record overall time of 57:42.245 and average speed of 117.694 mph. The race started with another Kawasaki rider (the class is dominated with Kawasaki Ninja 650s with a few Suzuki SV650s) Dean Harrison taking the early lead through the Glen Helen viewpoint but Hillier was right on his tail about half a second behind.
