For sale is this wonderfully clean VTR 1000. It is mostly stock, with modifications being a MRA windscreen, a Corbin seat, and a Two Brother's slip on exhaust with a stage 1 jet kit. This bike also has new tires, new brake pads, a newer D.I.D. chain and Vortex rear sprocket.
Weighing in at around 450 pounds ready to ride, and 110 horsepower and 70 foot pounds of torque, this bike is really quick and perfect for city or canyon riding. Wed, 01 Feb 2012Ducati continues to develop its Desmosedici GP12 MotoGP race bike, setting modest goals while trying to establish a good setup. Already trailing the other factory teams in development time for its race prototypes, Ducati continued to try to find good base settings for the GP12. Valentino Rossi achieved the team’s goal of lapping under two minutes and two seconds with a time of 2:01.886 while completing 44 laps on the second day of testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit.
Marco Simoncelli tribute CBR1000RR
Mon, 16 Jul 2012At Mugello Honda graciously gifted Simoncelli's father Paolo with Marco's RC212V race bike from last season, along with this tribute-livery Honda CBR1000RR in his honour and memory.Unveiled in a special and emotional ceremony the Fireblade was designed by Aldo Drudi and was inspired by the memorable Super-Sic colours. The bike will be auctioned off on eBay to raise money for the Marco Simoncelli Foundation. Mugello marked the first Italian round since Simoncelli was tragically killed at Sepang last year.
