1986 Honda Rebel 450. CMX450C. Great starter/learner bike. Would also make a great daily rider for commuter. The six-speed makes this a nice road bike. This was my first "street bike". Hate to let it go but need the room. When I got the bike it was a Bobber but, came with all the stock parts. I liked the look but missed the comfort. As you can see; foot controls have been moved forward 6 inches. Otherwise it was lovingly taken pretty much back to stock. If you don't know about the Rebel 450 you might want to study up. Team Mugen Returning to TT Zero with Shinden 2
Fri, 08 Feb 2013Noted Honda tuner Mugen announced it will compete in the 2013 TT Zero on the Isle of Man with an updated version of its Shinden electric sportbike. Mugen entered the Shinden at last year’s TT Zero, with Isle of Man veteran John McGuinness finishing second with an average speed of 102.215 mph. Team Mugen managed to break the 100mph barrier but fell short to the race winner Michael Rutter who rode the MotoCzysz E1PC.
Helmet Law Upheld in Ontario
Tue, 16 Jun 2009A Sikh in Ontario, Canada, has lost his challenge to the $110 ticket he received back in September 2005 for not wearing a helmet while riding his Honda Shadow. Baljinder Badesha, 39, claims the Ontario helmet law is “100 per cent” discrimination no matter what the safety issues are when riding without a helmet. We cannot put anything over the turban, it is against our religion. Mr. Badesha said outside court.
Nissin ABS Modulator Recall Affects Honda CTX700, Suzuki Hayabusa, Kawasaki Ninja 250R and Possibly More
Wed, 17 Jul 2013Last week, we wrote about a recall in Canada for the ABS system on the 2014 Honda CTX700N and the CTX700T (known everywhere else as simply the CTX700), affecting 13 units north of the border. We can now confirm that the recall also affects U.S. models as well as models from other manufacturers using the same components from Nissin.
