Honda Nighthawk description
1984 Honda CB700SC Nighthawk 700S.
Engine Size: 700cc Miles: 32,767 Great classic bike that is very comfortable and in good running condition. This is the Nighthawk "S" which is the sport version of the nighthawk that Honda built for speed. This bike has always been garaged kept and well maintained. Bike was sitting for past 2 years so it will need the carbs cleaned because it idles high. Old gasoline was professionally flushed out and new gas was put in. The bike starts right up with no problems! Bike does have some scuffs, scratches, dings, and rust due to its age. But overall a good looking bike! The clutch master cylinder cover also needs new screws put in, an easy fix. A new battery was just installed along with new turn signal stems. I currently ride this bike for pleasure during the week so the mileage may increase by a little. Kelley Blue Book Value for this bike $2700. I hope this sells for close to its worth, these are great classic Hondas. Feel free to private message me if you have any questions. I can also text you a video of the motorcycle if you have a smart phone. Shipping or transportation is from Erie, Pennsylvania and the buyer assumes all responsibility for it. Please understand that all sales are final. No deposit is due at the end of the auction. Full cash deposit is due by online or bank wire transfer within 48 hrs of the sale. Good luck bidding! |

Awesome Anaheim Supercross
Fri, 11 Jan 2013The highlight of this winter has to be my visit to last week’s Anaheim Californian Supercross. I’ve followed this spectacular series on Motors TV but the atmosphere while watching the action live is something else. Forty five Yankee dollars gets you a good seat high in the stadium, with practice starting at 12.30pm and the main event kicking off at 7.30pm. If you are making a day of it however, I’d recommend buying a pit pass then you can get in full anorak mode to hassle the teams and riders for autographs and photos. We conveniently made some new friends allowing us to do some pre event ‘tail gating’, a great concept which is basically barbecuing and downing beer around your vehicle in the surrounding car parks. The evening race schedule is four hours of nonstop action starting with the capacity crowd standing for the American national anthem sung by a stunning blonde with a huge voice.
Joey Dunlop on a V4 Honda at the '83 TT
Fri, 28 Sep 2012Onboard video footage doesn't get a lot better than this: Joey Dunlop during practice at the TT in 1983 onboard a factory Honda RS850R. An 859cc ultra-short stroke V4 Honda that Joey mastered around The Island, later winning the TT Formula 1. Although the 'production' race, the RS850R stretched that to the limit.
Monster Energy Track Day of Legends with Schumacher, McGuinness, Espargaro and Flint – Video
Tue, 18 Dec 2012Last week, we wrote about retired Formula One racer Michael Schumacher taking part in a track day at France’s Paul Ricard circuit on a Ducati 1199 Panigale. The event’s sponsor, Monster Energy, has released a video offering a behind-the-scenes look at the event. The seven-time F1 champion was joined by TT racer John McGuinness, retired MotoGP racer Randy Momola, Moto2 racer Pol Espargaro and Keith Flint, a musician from the group Prodigy and a racer in the U.K.’s Hottrax Endurance Championship.
