  You are bidding on a one of a kind 1986 Honda V42 Magna, Custom built by Robb Ess of BlueCat Motorcycles in Saint Paul, MN. The machine has 496 Original Miles. It was purchased in 1986, ridden 89 miles, and put into storage. It was again purchased this past June from the estate of the late owner. It has been completely inspected, and all aged seals/mechanical components were replaced. The carburetors have been re-jetted, the airbox modified, SuperTrapp exhaust installed and tuned, and cosmetically updated to resemble the runner-up design that almost, but not quite, beat out Arlen Ness to become the Infamous Super Magna, which was debuted in 1987. This machine is in LIKE NEW condition. It is ridiculously fast, nimble, and 100% stunning. It has, and will out preform most HD's and Victorys,( including stock V-Rods), in the daily stoplight to stoplight grind. It is exceptionally comfortable on long trips. With the two test riders coming forward to act as replacement riders for the injured Rossi and Aoyama, it brought back memories of the days when the grid would be gifted with wildcard riders from the respective countries. The Japanese rounds were always attended by some of the top guys with experience of the 500GP and MotoGP bikes, through racing them in their domestic championships. What resulted was getting to witness the exciting and talented Japanese riders, and bring new riders to the attention of the teams.
