Honda MR175 Elsinore description
1976 Honda MR175 Elsinore
Very nice bike overall. Starts easily and runs well. Speedometer shows 2009 miles. Tank does have a dent in it with a few paint chips. Tank has a liner in it and appears to be holding up well. Some areas on the frame are a bit worn and missing paint and now have a little surface rust. Chrome bits have a few rust spots here and there but overall it is in pretty good condition. No holes in the seat. Tires in good shape. Original plastic fenders in great shape. Original taillight and headlight. At some point someone added some fold up footpegs to the rear and they are welded to the swingarm. Here is a quick startup video of the bike- As I have stated the bike looks very nice as it is. A person may want freshen it up a bit by touching up a couple of areas on the frame and repainting the exhaust though. Sale includes the original tool kit, owners manual and brochure. This was an off-road trail bike with speedo and lights but no brake light, only taillight. It is not street legal and does not have a title. eBay requires that I choose an option for the title. I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE FOR THIS OFF ROAD MOTORCYCLE. Bill of sale can be provided if needed. If you want to see high-res pics just let me know and I can email them. If you want pics of other areas of the bike not shown I am happy to get some for you. Buyer is responsible for shipping. Motorcycle is sold as is. |

60's styled electric concept bike
Mon, 19 Mar 2012This electric concept bike takes the styling of an Ossa Grand Prix ridden in late 1960s by Santiago Herrero and brings it into the 21st century. From Barcelona design studio ART-TIC the Monocasco takes its styling cues from Ossa's monocoque racing bike that was introduced at the end of the 1960s. Spain's first motorcycle Grand Prix hero, Herrero took the bike to four victories before his fatal crash in the 1970 Isle of Man TT.
NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.
