Honda Gold Wing description

Just in time for Christmas

Up for sale is a 2008 Honda Goldwing  GL1800. This bike looks, runs and drives great. 46053 miles, new tires (July), new rear brake pads (July), front wheel blue "Ring of Fire" lights. Comes equipped with passenger intercom, FM/AM radio, Weather band radio and CB along with GPS navigation (screen and audible), AUX hookup, on-board ACC charge outlet with great front and rear speakers, windshield vent, cruise control, heated grips/seats, and signal lights embedded in the rear view mirrors. This machine is made for the open road; I drove it to Washington state and down the CA coast in 2011...would not hesitate to do it again...had a blast.

Lots of chrome on this machine including lower cowl, front fender rail, lighted spoiler, luggage rack as well as chrome led lighted trim on the trunk and saddlebags. Other items include Battery Tender hookup, 2 matching helmets with J&M headsets for intercom and CB, carpeted trunk and saddlebags and nylon collapsible luggage. Full shop manual, extra bulbs, owner's manual all included.

I'm the second owner...mileage was 11,000 when purchased. Garage kept with only minor scratches on lower part of right saddlebag, a result of being blown over in a serious thunderstorm (Tornado like winds) in 2011.

I have accessories to be purchased if buyer so desires. This bike is a great ride. It starts and runs excellent... only sorry that I'm getting older and my driving is not acceptable to continue to ride.

Mackenzie Tricker Looks To Pad WMX Points Lead At Glen Helen Raceway Sunday

Thu, 10 Apr 2014

Having won the opening two rounds of the 2014 Women’s Motocross Championship (WMX) – at the AMA sanctioned Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross at Daytona International Speedway in Florida, and at the James Stewart Freestone Spring Championship in Wortham, Texas, Australia’s Mackenzie Tricker comes into this weekend’s race at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California, with momentum on her side and a 17-point lead in the series standings. Round three of the Women’s Motocross Championship (WMX) will run in conjunction with the FMF California Classic, which runs from April 9 through April 13, with both WMX motos taking place on Sunday. So far, Tricker has won three of the four motos held to date, and the Yamaha-backed rider is hoping to pad her lead in the series standings with a good finish this weekend.

Top Five Motorcycle-Themed Harlem Shake Videos

Fri, 22 Feb 2013

Are you tired of the Harlem Shake yet? The Internet meme has been around for a couple of weeks now with what seems like everyone and their third cousin producing their own take on the theme. For those lucky few who have no idea what the Harlem Shake is, it’s a new fad based around a track by the same name produced by Brooklyn DJ Baauer.

Shawn Higbee Wins On The Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2

Thu, 01 May 2014

In only its second race appearance, the Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2 bike competed in the WERA F1 and B Superbike events on April 27th at the Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, California, run in conjunction with the first round of the GEICO Superbike Shootout, presented by Yamaha. During the F1 race, rider Shawn Higbee moved up to as high as 2nd place from a 5th row start on the Brough Superior TMRGP2 bike.  The TMRGP2′s lightweight all carbon fiber chassis and 600cc Honda powerplant demonstrated impressive cornering speed on the tight infield sections but could not match the top speed of the heavily modified 1000cc F1 bikes on the long straights. On the last lap Higbee was shuffled back to 4th place at the finish line.
