Honda Gold Wing description

You are bidding on a 2000 Honda Goldwing SE - 25th Anniversary Edition.  Most consider this one of the best, if not the best, touring bike ever produced.  I am the second owner of this bike, owning it since 2007.  I bought it with a little over 18,000 miles on it.  It has always been garage kept and very seldom even in the rain.  This bike has always been serviced and kept up to the highest standards.  You will see from the pictures that the condition is very good, even the seat looks new.

It has your typical SE options such as reverse, CB radio and cruise control.  Things that have been added include a luggage rack and an auxiliary to the radio plus an accessory charging port.  The brakes and tires have less than 1,500 miles on them.  The only reason I am selling this bike is that I other projects going on with rebuilding vehicles and just don't ride the bike like I used to.  I have decided there is no sense in this fine bike setting collecting dust when someone could be on it enjoying life's highways.

This bike is ready to hop on an go cross country or a ride through your neighborhood.  This is an excellent bike.

Taliban Magazine Condemns America but Praises Honda

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

Manufacturers are usually glad to hear positive reviews of their products, but we’ve got a feeling Honda is not happy about the ringing endorsement it received from the latest issue of the Taliban-published magazine “Azan“. The English-language magazine is a pro-Jihadist quarterly; pure propaganda designed to recruit impressionable and disillusioned Muslims in the West. It’s somewhat jarring then to find buried within the radical rhetoric a full page spread on a 125cc Honda as one of the Taliban’s “Steeds of War”.

Mystic Mac's 2014 MotoGP predictions

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

There is no real off season in Moto GP.  Although we complain about being starved of racing, for those at the sharp end, in little more than two months they have new bikes to assemble, team staff to put in place and sponsors to nail down that will pay for it all.  This time frame is also tight for riders, as it seems more every year go straight under the surgeon’s knife after the last round and spend the short winter recuperating for the season ahead. The 2014 Moto GP championship looks like a cracker as apart from the ten full factory riders we now have at least eight non factory riders with properly competitive machinery.  We also have five Brits on the grid, two with podium potential.  Whatever happens though (providing you have BT Sport) you can just sit back and enjoy watching the incredible Marc Marquez do things that shouldn’t be possible. Speaking of whom, I didn’t believe a Rossi replacement would come this soon.  And when I say replacement, I mean a rider that is the full package.  Although in some ways quite different to Vale, he’s an equally phenomenal talent plus a very likeable character that appeals to the masses and although respectful to his rivals off track, deadly competitive in the heat of battle.  Being young and good looking he’s obviously a dream for sponsors and the sport in general.  Marquez has evolved in his own way but thankfully into a perfect replacement for our sport when the VR steps down.

Team HRC CRF450 Rally Prototype Video

Fri, 03 Jan 2014

In a just released video HRC Team Director Katsumi Yamazaki describes Honda’s Dakar weapon, the CRF450 Rally. Warning: Yamazaki-san’s monotone delivery manages to snuff the excitement factor of what is an incredibly trick motorcycle, but it’s still interesting to watch. Honda returned to the Dakar Rally for the first time in 24 years in January 2013.
